We can't rescue without you. Safe, loving foster homes are essential to our rescue mission. Without them, we have no place for our rescued animals to go. By opening your heart and home to a rescued pet, you are giving them a second chance in life. No experience is needed to be a Pet Foster parent, all you need to give is shelter, love, time, and a nurturing environment. We take care of the cost of supplies, food, and medical care. Don't have the time to foster or want the commitment? Try Doggie Day Out for a day of hiking with your favorite rescued pet, or host a rescued pet for a weekend Slumber Pawty! It's a fun, easy way to help a rescued pet socialize and find a new family and you get to hang with a cute dog all day!
The Foster A Pet Program is not only rewarding, but it's a great way to care for an animal without the long-term commitment of ownership. We offer flexible foster options and you will always have the opportunity to meet the rescued dog before foster placement. We tailor our program to meet the specific needs of your schedule and living environment. You are never obligated to foster a pet. Every dog is different, so time commitment varies based on the needs of the pet, but you should expect a 30-90 days commitment, but short-term options are available.

Pet Foster Parent
Most dogs are short-term and quickly adoptable, they just need some time to get bigger, receive proper vaccinations, and have spay/neuter surgery.
Doggie Day Out
Rescued pets need socialization to build confidence, let them spend the day with you going for a hike, visiting your favorite coffee shop, or meeting up with friends. Keep the pet for a day or extend it for the weekend and make it a Slumber Pawty!
Hospice Care Giver
Very special people give very special care to a terminally ill pet. These pets are rescued from shelters and given palliative care so they may have peace and dignity in their final moments. It's the most rewarding moments you can give to a shelter pet.
